The House of Ramirez has for well over a century (since 1882!) constructed the finest quality concert instruments played by many of the world's top recitalists including the legendary Andres Segovia, Narciso Yepes, Julian Bream, Alexandre Lagoya, Christopher Parkening, Kazuhito Yamashita, Liona Boyd, Laurindo Almeida, Alirio Diaz, Jose Luis Gonzales, Antonio Lauro, Oscar Ghiglia......
Its flamenco devotees include Sabicas and Carlos Montoya.

Unusually for a Flamenco, this guitar has a cedar top. Compared to a Spruce 1a, its character is maybe a little less 'punchy' but with a little more detail to the tone colour.
Overall it is typical of a really good Ramirez Flamenco - very bright and lively across the full palette of sound, offering possibilities of response that range from terrific energy with powerful volume to subtle expressive lyricism.

Condition is superb - virtually no playing wear and just a few very small surface marks on the body and top.
